Street Glide Shockers

"Doc, the shocks on my 2012 Street Glide are shot. What should I go for as a replacement? I’m not short of a quid but don’t like wasting bucks either."

Well Hendo, you have many options these days. These range from the relatively budget priced Ikon shocks from Albury, which I ran on my CVO some years back and are shown in the below above and which I was very happy with, through to the French made Fournales that I once described as “the Rolls Royce of shocks”

Progressive Suspension shocks are worth a look, as are Legend Suspensions Air Adjustable as well as the Harley-Davidson Premium Ride Hand-Adjustable Touring Shocks, which have a good reputation. And a more recent player in the premium suspension market is JRI Suspension from the USA.

As the old saying goes, “you pays your money and you makes your choice”. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with any of these brands.
