The "Black Dog Ride" Team Tassie brave the cold for the cause.

On Saturday 01 August 2015, a great proportion of the "Team Tassie" on their way next week to Uluru (Ayers-Rock) braved the wild Hobart weather and offered a sausage sizzle to the passing traffic in front of Mitre 10, K&D hardware on Murray Street Hobart.

Despite the weather conditions, more than $500.00 have been raised for the "Black Dog Ride" cause in a very congenial atmosphere. Each sausage was sold for $2.50 and all the ingredients were donated to the "Team Tassie" by the Coles Supermarket Chain, one member Michael McCarthy braved the weather and rode his motorcycle from Launceston to be there; now that is dedication!

Bertrand Cadart however was not as "brave" and drove down from Bicheno to help and slice several kilos of onions

Well done "Team Tassie".
